Passive Progressive Relaxation

The following is a recording of the Passive Progressive Relaxation exercise that would have been demonstrated during the Fatigue group session. Passive Progressive Muscle Relaxation introduces a different approach to relaxation by focusing on reducing tension through suggestion rather than active muscle tensing. Therefore, encouraging the mind to release tension in various body areas, promoting a state of relaxation.

This exercise aims to help you train your mind to focus on a single thought, improving your overall concentration and ability to stay present in the moment. It's a simple technique that can be practiced regularly to enhance your mental clarity and productivity. 

Autogenic Relaxation:

The following is a recording of the Autogenic Relaxation exercise that would have been demonstrated during the relaxation group session. Autogenic Relaxation is a technique to teach your body to respond to your commands. These commands “tell'' your body to relax and help control breathing, blood pressure, heartbeat, and body temperature. The goal of Autogenic Relaxation is to achieve deep relaxation and reduce stress.

The following is a recording of the Guided Visualisation relaxation exercise that would have been demonstrated during the relaxation group session. This exercise aims to help you to acknowledge, accept and let go of any thoughts and feelings that you may be carrying with you throughout the day.
