We are seeking people’s views and experiences to help shape how urgent care services, like GP out-of-hours services, night nursing services and urgent treatment centres, are delivered.

The NHS in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight has launched this year’s spring COVID-19 vaccination campaign, offering vital protection to those most at risk from the virus. 

As part of wider NHS reforms, the boundaries of some Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) changed on 1 April 2026. This includes the dissolution of NHS Frimley ICB, with its former footprint being divided between three ICBs.

Many practices within Hampshire and Isle of Wight are participating in a flexible commissioning scheme, which offers extra NHS dentistry sessions for patients who require additional treatment after receiving care for an urgent dental need. The scheme will also provide routine check-ups for specific patient cohorts. Patients do not need to be known to, or associated with, the practice to access these sessions.

Across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight work is already underway to deliver progress towards the Government's 10-Year Health Plan for England, such as through one-stop-shop local health centres and the introduction of Dora, an artificial intelligent telephone assistant helping to bring down waits for cataract surgery.
