Welcome to the NHS Hampshire and Isle of Wight Improving Together platform - a place to collaborate and connect, share and learn.
In the health and care system in Hampshire and Isle of Wight, we want to support people to live longer and more fulfilled lives in good health. Continuous improvement and learning are at the heart of this, shaping how we work.
Improving Together offers everyone across Hampshire and Isle of Wight a thriving, diverse platform where we can connect, collaborate, share, improve and learn together, embedding a culture of continuous improvement and learning. It provides a repository of resources and support, including local and national training and development opportunities, and newsletters and bulletins.
We are looking forward to developing this together, supported by a growing learning and improvement community across Hampshire and Isle of Wight and evolving networks and infrastructure.
The HIOW clinical framework has been designed by clinicians and sets out the principles and values underpinning how we work together to design, deliver and improve our healthcare services. It defines our ambition to improve the health of our population and reduce inequalities in health and healthcare outcomes, now and in the future.
The HIOW quadruple aim is the fair and balanced improvement of health and healthcare outcomes that matter to people, experience of receiving care, experience of providing care, and the effectiveness and efficiency of care. Making this happen across a complex system like ours means we all need to take an aligned approach to how we plan, design, deliver and transform services, and we need to learn together how to do this well.
