We are delighted to announce that Maggie MacIsaac has been confirmed as our Chief Executive following an appointment process as part of the national reforms across the NHS.
The Chief Executives of the new configurations of Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) across the country are being confirmed by NHS England to support their renewed role as strategic commissioners for local NHS systems as set out in the 10 Year Health Plan. This follows the formal appointments of Chairs and the approval of boundary changes and cluster arrangements for the new configuration of future ICBs.
Last month we were pleased to share that Lena Samuels was reaffirmed as our Chair, and we also received confirmation of our organisational boundary change to include the North East Hampshire area that is currently part of NHS Frimley ICB.
The appointment of our Chief Executive is another important milestone in our progress to evolve our organisation to support the delivery and expectations of the 10 Year Health Plan.
