A medicines formulary is a list of medicines approved for use in adults and children. A formulary is used alongside other resources to ensure the safe and appropriate prescribing of medicines for patients.

The formulary includes primary care, hospital, community, and mental health and learning disability providers. All supporting prescribing documentation (e.g. shared care guidelines, position statements and clinical information) can be accessed via the formulary.
