Community Diagnostic Centres (CDCs) are NHS facilities that provide a range of diagnostic tests in locations that are often closer to where people live. They offer a more convenient way for patients to access important tests and investigations, helping to support earlier diagnosis and treatment. By providing additional diagnostic capacity outside of traditional hospital settings, CDCs help improve access to services, reduce waiting times, and support better health outcomes for local communities.
NHS Hampshire and the Isle of Wight has nine Community Diagnostic Centres at various locations:
